• Taking my daily walk around the city (Newark) today to clear my head and on my way back I passed this church right before my apartment building. Saw a bunch of people with flowers and balloons and even news cameras. I didn’t think much of it. Figured someone was just getting married or something. Fast forward a few hours later and I’m reading about Whitney Houston’s funeral arrangements — come to find out it’s happening at that church This Saturday. Right next door to me. I believe so much in full circles and that’s about as full circle as it can get for me. My favorite singer since I was a kid, my ultimate crush, my fellow Leo born on the same day, and now her farewell is happening less than a block away from me. Crazy. I will always will love her.
